With over a decade of experience working within government, Jim has previously served as a Constituent Relations Specialist and a Special Assistant to the New Jersey Speaker of the General Assembly. Working for the then Speaker Joseph J. Roberts Jr, he assisted residents and served as a liaison for the Speaker to the Governor's Office, Executive Branch Departments and Agencies and State, Federal and local officials.

As Gloucester County Commissioner, Jim has:

• Passed 3 consecutive county tax rate decreases and a 3-year spending freeze

• Ensured that seniors receive quality care in the form of nutrition sites, meal delivery, free health screenings, exercise programs, home service visits, and much more

• Created the Gloucester County Addictions Task Force, bringing local communities together to address the opioid epidemic

• Provided no-cost preventive health services to all residents, including general wellness exams for children
